Ride Melbourne

2020 Communication Design Capstone Project.

Collaboration project with a group of three fellow students, assigned the ‘connected city’ goal that is part of the City of Melbourne’s 2026 Plan. The ‘connected city’ goal is to focus Melbourne City on becoming a more walkable, cycle city and better connected via public transport. Section 6.2 of the goal aims to expand Melbourne’s cycling culture by 2026,

“The municipality’s bicycle network of streets, lanes and paths will be connected and safe, and cycling will be attractive for people of all ages and abilities. The creation of cycle-only streets will encourage more people to ride. Cycling will also provide personal and public health, environmental and cultural benefits.” (City of Melbourne, 2020)
